Boiler Breakdown

Central Heating & Boiler Controls

We cover repairs to your central heating and boiler controls including: • Replacement or repair of thermostat and programmers • External Pump and Motorised Zone Valves • Repair or replacement of radiator valves • Repair or replacement of central heating pipe • Repair or replacement of external expansion vessels

Carbon Monoxide Test

Your annual boiler service includes a carbon monoxide test.

Gas Supply Pipes

Gas Supply Pipes We cover repairs to gas supply pipes including: • Unlimited callouts • Repairs to gas leaks on accessible pipes inside your home, which supply a gas boiler and other appliances.


We cover electrical repairs including: • Unlimited callouts • Repairs to circuits • Repairs to the fuse box • Repair or replacement of circuit breakers • Repair or replacement of standard light switches, sockets and shower switches


We cover plumbing work including: • Unlimited callouts • Repairs to leaking cold water pipes (after the main stop cock) • Repairs to leaking hot water pipes or fittings

Taps & Toilets

Repairs to your taps and toilets including: • Unlimited callouts • Repair of leaking taps • Repair of running toilets • Siphons, valves and ball cocks

Internal Drains

Repairs to internal drains including: • Unlimited callouts • Blocked or leaking internal kitchen or bath drains

Boiler Replacement

If your boiler is seven years old or less at the initial policy start date, and 10 years old or less at renewal, we will pay £350 towards the boiler replacement.

Gas Safety Check

Your gas safety check includes: • Up to three appliances are included (please contact us if you have more appliances) • Gas tightness check • Flue gas analysis on boiler if required • Working pressure checks on appliances if required • Checking burner pressure and gas rate are compliant with manufacturers data badge • Checking the flue and ventilation are compliant with Gas Safety Regulation • Investigating evidence of unsafe situations or operation, and reporting to the responsible person • Testing the flue performance to ensure removal of products of combustion • Checking all safety devices

What Is Not Included?

• Repair of pre-existing, system design or installation faults • Repair of weather related faults • Repair or replacement of the boiler should it be beyond economical repair or replacement parts are unavailable. This is determined by our engineer • Boiler repairs over £250 for first three months of the cover • Repair to faults caused by sludge in the central heating system • Repairs to faults caused by disconnection of electricity, gas or water • Repair of damage caused when your home is unoccupied for more than 28 days • We do not cover guest houses or B&Bs • Trace and access • Replacement of bulbs or three pin plugs • Replacement of taps • External drainage • Replacement of toilets
