Do you provide boiler repair in Bradford?
Yes. Mr Reactive is a Bradford-based Gas Safe registered heating company. Our office is at Legend House, 173 Sunbridge Road, Bradford BD1 2HB. We repair domestic boilers across all Bradford postcodes (BD1 to BD24) and the wider West Yorkshire area.
How much does boiler repair cost in Bradford?
Boiler repairs start from £89. The final price depends on the fault and any parts required. We provide a written quote before repair work begins. If you choose not to proceed after diagnosis, a £96 diagnostic charge may apply.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
There is no separate call-out fee. If you go ahead with the repair, the diagnostic visit is included in the repair price. If you choose not to proceed, a £96 diagnostic charge may apply. Customers on any of our boiler care plans pay no call-out fee and no excess on covered repairs.
What happens if I do not go ahead with the repair?
If after the diagnostic you decide not to proceed with the repair, a £96 diagnostic charge may apply to cover the engineer's time and parts inspection. There is no obligation to accept the quote.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Mr Reactive Ltd is Gas Safe registered, registration number 598381. You can verify our registration directly on the

Do you cover Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Halifax?
Yes. Although our office is in Bradford, our engineers attend properties across all BD, LS, HD, WF and HX postcodes — including Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Halifax. We do not work on commercial premises.
How much is a boiler service?
A standard annual boiler service is £96 inc VAT. Booking the boiler service together with a CP12 landlord gas safety certificate is £144 inc VAT, saving £48 compared with booking them separately.
How much is a landlord CP12 gas safety certificate?
A standalone CP12 landlord gas safety certificate is £96 inc VAT. Bundling it with an annual boiler service brings the combined price to £144 inc VAT.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. All Gas Safe engineers attending Mr Reactive jobs are part of our in-house team. This means consistent quality, full accountability and a real local team you can speak to directly.
Which boiler brands do you repair?
We repair all major domestic boiler brands, including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Viessmann, Glow-worm, Potterton, Alpha, Main, Vokera, Ferroli and Biasi. We do not work on electric boilers or commercial premises.
How long does a boiler repair take?
Most domestic boiler repairs are completed within one to two hours once the fault is diagnosed and the engineer has the correct part. Our engineers carry common parts on the van, so many repairs are finished on the first visit. Where a part has to be ordered, we arrange a return visit at the earliest opportunity.
Do you repair Worcester Bosch boilers?
Yes. Worcester Bosch is one of the most common boiler brands we repair across West Yorkshire. Our Gas Safe engineers diagnose and fix Worcester Bosch faults, including common error codes such as EA and 227.
Do you repair Vaillant and Ideal boilers?
Yes. We repair Vaillant and Ideal boilers regularly, including common fault codes such as Vaillant F22 and F75, and Ideal L2 and F1. We repair all major domestic gas boiler brands.
Can you repair a leaking boiler?
Yes. A leaking boiler should not be ignored. Common causes include corroded pipework, failed seals, a faulty heat exchanger or a pressure relief valve. Our Gas Safe engineer will find the cause and provide a written quote before any repair work begins.
Why does my boiler keep losing pressure?
A boiler that keeps losing pressure usually points to a leak somewhere in the system, a failed expansion vessel or a faulty pressure relief valve. Topping up the pressure only masks the problem — our engineer will find and fix the underlying cause.
How often should I service my boiler?
We recommend an annual boiler service. Yearly servicing keeps your boiler safe and efficient, helps prevent breakdowns, and is usually required to keep the manufacturer warranty valid. An annual boiler service is £96 inc VAT.
Can landlords book a CP12 and boiler service together?
Yes. Many landlords book the CP12 landlord gas safety certificate and the annual boiler service in a single visit. The combined price is £144 inc VAT, a saving of £48 compared with booking them separately.

Are parts included in the repair price?
The boiler repair price from £89 covers diagnosis and labour. Any replacement parts are quoted separately and clearly before they are fitted, so you always approve the full cost before work continues.
Do you repair electric or commercial boilers?
No. Mr Reactive repairs domestic gas boilers only. We do not repair electric boilers and we do not work on commercial premises.
What should I do if I smell gas?
If you smell gas or suspect a gas leak, do not book a standard boiler repair. Turn off the gas at the meter if it is safe to do so, open windows, avoid naked flames and electrical switches, leave the property, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999.
How quickly can you attend a boiler repair?
