How quickly can a Gas Safe engineer get to my property?
We aim to attend boiler repair calls in West Yorkshire within 45 minutes during the day. If you call after 5pm we'll typically be with you first thing the next morning. There is no call-out fee, day or night.
How much does boiler repair cost in West Yorkshire?
Our boiler repairs start from £89. The exact cost depends on the fault. We attend free of charge and provide a written quote before any work begins. You only pay if you approve the quote.
How much is a boiler service or CP12 gas safety certificate?
A boiler service is £96 inc VAT. A standalone CP12 landlord gas safety certificate is £96 inc VAT. Booking the boiler service and CP12 together is £144 inc VAT, saving you £48.
Which areas do you cover?
Mr Reactive serves Bradford (BD1 to BD24), Leeds, Wakefield, Huddersfield, Halifax and the surrounding West Yorkshire towns. We do not cover commercial premises.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Mr Reactive is Gas Safe registered, registration number 598381. You can verify our registration directly on the
Gas Safe Register website.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. We attend with no call-out fee, day or night. We give you a written quote before starting any work, and you only pay if you approve the quote.
Are your engineers in-house or subcontractors?
All our Gas Safe engineers are Mr Reactive employees. We do not use subcontractors. This means consistent quality, accountability and a real local team you can build a relationship with.
Is local boiler cover better than a national plan from British Gas or HomeServe?
Local cover means the same in-house team for your repair, service, CP12 and ongoing protection. National plans typically use approved engineer networks and call-centres.
